One of the key ingredients, Cascara sagrada stem bark has a long history of use by Native Americans to treat several issues, including constipation, digestive problems, joint and muscle pain and gallstones. As a natural stimulant laxative, it works by causing muscle contractions in the intestines and therefore helps move stool through the bowels. Another key ingredient is Alder buckthorn stem bark. This powerhouse has also been used for centuries to treat constipation due to its ability to increase the absorption of water and electrolytes in the intestine.  Together with other herbs, this blend provides everything you need to feel better. Simply rake two capsules twice daily with water, or as professionally prescribed. Each capsule contains:

• Frangula purshiana (Cascara sagrada) stem bark 196mg.
• Rhamnus frangula (Alder buckthorn) stem bark 76mg.
• Glycyrrhiza glabra (Liquorice) powder 65mg.
• Capsicum annuum (Capsicum) fruit 22mg.
• Zingiber officinale (Ginger) rhizome 22mg. 
• Elymus repens (Couchgrass) rhizome 11mg.
• Berberis aquifolium (Oregon grape) root & rhizome 11mg.
• Trifolium pratense (Red clover) flower 11mg.
• Rheum officinale (Rhubarb) root 11mg.

No added gluten, lactose, soy, starch, sugars or salt, wheat products, artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives.

• Adults: Take two capsules twice daily with at least one glass (250ml) of water, or as professionally prescribed.
