The formula has been standardised to contain 400mg silybin, the principal active ingredient responsible for the liver effects of St Mary's thistle. St Mary's thistle has long been used in Western herbal therapy to support good digestion and treat indigestion symptoms such as flatulence, stomach bloating, and sensations of fullness. It is an antioxidant that helps to keep the gallbladder healthy by reducing free radicals in the body.
Taurine joins Milk Thistle in this formula to protect liver cells against free radicals and toxin damage. Henry Blooms Milk Thistle Plus has a wide range of potential health benefits, from reduced fatigue to improved eyesight. It is vegan-friendly and free from gluten, wheat, yeast, animal products, lactose, milk derivatives, sugar, salt, artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
Each capsule contains:
- Silybum marianum (Milk Thistle) fruit extract dry conc. 500 mg, equiv. dry fruit 35 g, equiv. Silybin 400 mg
- Taurine 50 mg
No added wheat, gluten, yeast, animal products, milk derivatives, eggs, soybean products, lactose, sugars, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Contains sorbitol and residual sulfites.
- Adults: Take 1 tablet daily with a meal, or as directed by your health professional.
- Children under 18 years old: Only as professionally prescribed.
