Healthwise L-Tyrosine is an ‘anti-stress’ supplement that may prevent a decline in cognitive function in response to specific types of physical stress. As L-Tyrosine serves as the precursor to the hormone thyroid, it may play a role in fat loss to increase the body’s metabolic rate. It also serves as a precursor for the synthesis of thyroxin, melanin, norepinephrine and your feel-good hormones. Healthwise L-Tyrosine is a vegan-friendly, 100% pure pharmaceutical grade amino acid that does not include dairy or gluten.
Ingredients: 100% Pure L-Tyrosine powder.
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon can be added to coconut water, fruit or vegetable juice. Servings are best taken at least 30mins before meals.
- L-Tyrosine should be taken before meals, preferably 30 minutes before, and divided into two or three doses daily, with juice or coconut water.
Tyrosine supplements are best taken with a B group or multivitamin/mineral complex because vitamins B6, B9, folic acid and the copper mineral help in the conversation of L-Tyrosine in the body. HealthWise® Amino Powders are pure pharmaceutical grade powders and are packed by weight not volume, without the use of fillers or flowing agents. Some of the powders are slightly hygroscopic (retain moisture) and this can result in clumping. This can be broken apart with a spoon before taking or dissolved in water.
